Practices: Tuesday/Thursday @ 5:00pm at Fair Oaks Elementary

Bring the following:

• Proper soccer attire, including cleats and shin guards under socks.
• Wear your practice shirts
• Water
• Soccer ball (size 4)

Things we expect of players:

• Show up on time to training with all equipment
• 100% effort and focus in training as well as games
• Leadership
• Positive attitude and a commendable work ethic
• Not missing training (but all absences communicated in advance)
• A consistent desire to improve each and every day

• Week of May 4 – Practice begins
• May 18 – Metro Select Applications Due
• June 7 – Sacramento State 6v6 Tournament
• July 25 – Select Seeding Tournament: Time/Location TBD
• Aug 8-9 - 49er Gold Rush Classic (Auburn)
• Aug 29-30 – Land Park 10 Cup
• Sep 2 – 5:15pm – Pictures at Fair Oaks Park
• Sep 12 – Opening weekend
• Sep 26-27 - ARYSL Goal Rush
• Oct 24-25 – Octo-Boo-Fest
• Dec 5-6 – District Cup

Typical Agenda for Practices:

• Players arrive, get ready, introduce ‘topic of the day’ 10 min
• Warm up, stretching, game activity 10 min
• Work on topic of the day, 1+1, 1v1 20 min
• Water break, team discussion 5 min
• Small sided games 15 min
• Scrimmage 20 min
• Conditioning/Cool down/wrap up/review 10 min
