The 49er Gold Rush Classic tournament is all set for Saturday and Sunday, Aug 8 & 9, 2009. All games will be held at Placer Hills School in Meadow Vista, near Auburn. Our games times are as follows:

• Saturday:
  • 10:00am vs. Elk Grove Blast - Field A
  • 2:00pm vs. 49er Sierra Blitz - Field B
•  Sunday
  • 10:00am vs. SYSL Earthquakes - Field A
  • 3:20pm potential consolation/championship game

ARRIVAL
Arrive one hour before the first game each morning. We’ll group, get settled with the EZ Ups, and start to warm up at 9:30.  

DURING THE DAY
We'll be done with our first game at 11:00am, so we'll have a couple hours before we start to warm up for our 2:00pm game. If you leave, BE BACK AT 1:00pm.

UNIFORM
The main uniform will be our white unis. Bring your black/gold uniform (including socks), just in case we have to switch.  

DIRECTIONS
Placer Hills School is located at Meadow Lane and Placer Hills Rd in Meadow Vista. Exit Hwy 80 at Placer Hills Rd (Meadow Vista exit), turn North and go up the hill into Meadow Vista. Go Past Meadow Vista Park on the left. You will see a True Value hardware store on the right side, Placer Hills School is on the left. Entrance to side of school with parking is right after the hardware store. Parking available in front of school on Saturday only. It is reserved for church on Sunday. Additional parking is available behind Mountain Mikes Pizza and Wells Fargo bank. Please do not park along Meadow Lane, where the soccer fields are located, or past the bridge - cars will be ticketed and towed. A few parking spots are available on Meadow Lane in front of the pool. Other parking is available across the street from the school at the Auto Garage shop.

OTHER
I have a mandatory team check-in Friday evening in Auburn. If there is any additional info that comes out of that meeting, I'll send an email as soon as I get home, so please check your email Friday night.
